Housing Guidelines
Reservations can be made until April 13, 2010, through the GITA Housing Bureau. Reservations can be made via the following method: Internet: Book your reservation online at http://www.gita.org/hotel. Access the hotel reservations page under “Hotel & Travel.” To take advantage of the special GITA Conference rates, book your reservation by March 20, 2010. While the GITA Housing Bureau will stay open through April 13, 2010, we urge you to make your arrangements by March 20 to increase your chance of securing a discounted hotel room. All rates are per room per night based on occupancy and are subject to 12% tax (subject to change without notice). Reservation requests must be made directly on the GITA Web site by April 13. Do not contact the GITA headquarters or individual conference hotels; it will delay processing your request.
Room reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card. No checks, cash, or money orders are accepted. All changes must be made online, by email or fax to the GITA Housing Bureau through April 13, 2010. After this date, direct all changes to the designated hotel. Cancellations can be made without penalty until March 20, 2010. After this date, a $25 processing fee will be charged. Cancellations within 72 hours of arrival are subject to one night’s room and tax penalty charged by your confirmed hotel. Please note that duplicate reservations are not allowed. Hotels will assign specific room types upon check in, based upon availability. Please be advised that requests are not guaranteed. Please note the Hyatt Regency Phoenix is smoke-free.
Confirmations
Confirmations will be sent after each reservation booking, modification, or cancellation. Review it carefully for accuracy. If you do not receive a confirmation via e-mail, fax, or mail within 14 days after any transaction, please contact the Housing Bureau via email at hsgcoor@visitphoenix.com. Hospitality Suites & Meeting Space Requests All suite and meeting space requests must be approved by GITA. Contact the GITA Housing Bureau at hsgcoor@visitphoenix.com. Room Block Exceptions If you live within 80 miles of the Phoenix Convention Center, you may choose the “In Room Block” rates on the conference registration form.

Cancellation Policy
A $25 processing fee will be charged for any cancellation or substitution. Fifty percent of the registration fee will be charged for cancellations received after March 12, 2010, but before April 2, 2010. Cancellations received on or after April 2, 2010, are non-refundable.
